Lone Star College

The 2009 purchase from Hewlett Packard of 1.2 million sq. ft. of space in 8 major buildings, plus parking garages and support facilities makes it the largest such acquisition in US higher education history. The new campus, located at State Highway 249/Louetta Road, is located 1 mile south of Pin Oak Park office park and adjoins both the HP Computer Campus and The Vintage Park Lifestyle Development. The new name is LCS-University Park and will begin in January 2010 offering degrees from Sam Houston State University, University of Houston, Prairie View A&M University, and Texas Southern University.
